Calming influence.

I’ve spent several days on my own exploring Oregon and had WAY more adventures than anticipated, let me tell you. One of the best things I have experienced is the sense of calm while you’re on a 9 mile hike, miles from another human and there is nothing but you and nature. The only sound is your own footfalls, a few twittering birds and the soothing sound of water tripping over itself to get down the side of the mountain. There is plenty of time to breathe and refocus beyond all the “noise” that surrounds us every day. It’s essential and I don’t know about you, but I could use more of that in my life. Oh, and this. I want to fall asleep to this every night.
